The assignment: EU Taxonomy & TCFD alignment
Purple IVY supports Alder’s portfolio companies to navigate and align with the EU Taxonomy and the Task Force on Climate-related Finance Disclosure (TCFD). This work informs Alder’s reporting to the EU Sustainable Finance Reporting Directive (SFDR). It also empowers the companies to strategically integrate and communicate their contribution to the objectives of the European Green Deal, bringing climate change risk, opportunities and adaptation into their long-term transition plans.

Purple IVY supports Alder’s companies with a combination of process coaching and a strategic approach to EU legislation to achieve maximum benefit. While many of the Alder-owned companies are not required to comply with the EU Green Deal directives (due to their size), Alder recognises the benefit of using the intentions of the legislation, such as the EU Taxonomy, to inspire their sustainability work.
